Facility Rules Overview

Capacity
Maximum capacity for the pool area is 239: 18 in the baby pool and 221 in the main pool area.  These numbers reflect the number of persons in the designated area of the pool deck (low fenced area around the pool) in addition to the number of persons in the pool itself.  The Manager has the right to refuse entry to members and guests if this will put the facility over capacity.

 

Facility Rules

Only members may use the facilities. Members must show membership card and sign in on entering the pool.
  1. No child under 12 years of age may be at the pool by themselves unless they have passed the swim test and it has been noted on their card at the front desk and a parent/ guardian has signed off on it.
  2. No child under 12 years of age is allowed at the facilities after 6:00pm unless accompanied by and adult age 18 or older.
  3. No glass containers permitted on the premises.
  4. No food or drink on the concrete deck of the pool (within the chain fence around the pool itself).
  5. No smoking in the fenced pool area or on the tennis courts. Smoking is only permitted in the parking lot.
  6. No pets allowed on the premises (including tennis courts and parking lot). 

Lifeguards

  1. Respect the lifeguards.  They are here for your safety.
  2. They are responsible for enforcing the rules.
  3. They are authorized to clear the pool in an emergency.  After three (3) sharp blasts of a lifeguard’s whistle, pool users must take the most direct means to quickly and safely exit the pool.

Manager

  1. The Manager shall have final and conclusive authority to make on-the-spot decisions in all matters relating to health and safety.
  2. The Manager is charged by the Board of Directors to eject, for a period of 24 hours, any person failing to observe these rules.
  3. The Manager will report any serious and repeat offenders to the Board of Directors.
  4. The Manager may refuse entry into the water to anyone wearing bandages, possessing skin abrasions, extremely inflamed eyes, open sores, infections, or with nasal or ear discharge.
  5. In adverse weather (e.g., lightning or thunder near the Club) has the authority to close the pool area and/or direct all users to vacate the premises.

Members and Children

  1. Members may refer comments or complaints to the Manager, complete a comment/complaint card located at the guards desk or a member of the Board.
  2. Members are responsible for informing family members and guests of these rules.
  3. No spitting, blowing one’s nose, spouting water, etc. into the pool.
  4. No running; no yelling; no horse-playing.

Reserve Rule 

The Club reserves the right to suspend members or guests for other inappropriate or unsafe conduct not described here.  Members may appeal any application of these Rules to the Manager, or board of directors at a scheduled meeting.
