OHSTC Membership ID Cards FAQ

Q: What types of ID cards do you provide?
A: There are 5 types of ID cards:

    1. Permanent (Family, Double, Single)
    1. Associate (Family, Double, Single, Renter)
    1. Tennis Only
    1. August Only
  1. Child Care (Non Live-in Child Care Providers)

Q: Do I need an ID card?
A: Anyone with a membership to OHSTC age 4 and up as of January 1 of each membership year is required to have an ID card. This includes non live-in child care providers. You will not be able to enter the pool area without an ID card.

Q: What if I have a card from last year?
A: Fantastic! Bring your ID card to Team Registration Night or Open House and receive your yearly sticker. Stickers will also be available Opening weekend at the Pool House entrance. Stickers will be placed directly onto the card only, not handed out. It is the member’s responsibility to check in with the guard at the desk and tell them they have an ID card/sticker to pick up.

Q: I have an Empty Nester ID card. Can I still use it?
A: No. The Empty Nester category has been renamed to Permanent Double. This is to reflect the new criteria for the category (see http://orangehuntswimclub.org/membershiptypesoverview/permanentdouble.html for details). Any member with an Empty Nester ID card has been reissued a new Permanent category ID card.

Q: I have an Associate Renter ID card. Can I still use it?
A: No. Associate Renter cards have been reissued to just read "Associate". Any members with an Associate Renter that is renewing this year has been reissued an Associate category membership card.

Q: Will I be reissued a card each year?
A: Cards will be issued to new members and members who have switched Membership Types (e.g. Associate to Permanent). At this time, cards will be reused for 2-5 years and issued stickers on a yearly basis. Please visit http://orangehuntswimclub.org/memberresponsibilites/membershipcards.html for complete details.

Q: What if I lost my card?
A: There is a $5 Replacement Fee for lost or stolen cards. If we have your picture on file, we can reprint the card.

Q: Where can I pick up my ID card or sticker?
A: Completed cards will be ready for pick-up at Team Registration, Open House, and at the Pool House entrance once the pool is open for the season. Stickers will be placed directly onto the card only, not handed out. It is the member’s responsibility to check in with the guard at the desk and tell them they have an ID card/sticker to pick up.

Q: How do I get my picture for the card?
A: You may email us a digital picture or mail us a hard copy of each person in need of an ID card (details can be found at Member Submissions under OHSTC Membership Card Terms and Restrictions below). You can also email cards@orangehuntswimclub.org and make arrangements to have you picture taken. Someone will be available at Team Registration and Open House to take your picture.

 

OHSTC Membership Card Terms and Restrictions

Who Receives Cards? All active members four (4) years of age or older, as of January 1 of the current year, will be issued a membership ID card.  This includes all members associated with these membership types:
1.  Permanent Family
2.  Permanent Double
3. Permanent Single
4. Associate Single
5.  Associate Family
6.  Associate Renter
7.  Tennis Only

Cards may be replaced every 2-5 years based on the age of the member and normal wear and tear on the card.  Card actual replacement time is determined by the Pool Management, Membership Director, and Board of Directors.

Terms of Membership Card

By accepting an OHSTC Membership card the holder agrees to the following:
1.  Card Holder will abide by the pool rules
2.  Member will not destroy, copy, give, lend, share, or in any way let another person use their assigned card.
3.  All membership card(s) must be surrendered when membership is terminated. Termination will not be completed without surrendering all cards associated with membership number.
4.  Violation of the above agreements may result in the revoking of the card by Pool Management on approval of the Board of Directors.
5.  Replacement cards will be issued if lost or stolen.  Replacement cost is $5.00 per card.


Member Image Submissions

Every member must submit pictures of each and every individual included under their membership.  Image is from top of head down to shoulders, no wider that shoulder width (passport photos are perfect!).  Separate image for each member.  Images may be submitted by the following methods:

1.  Digital (preferred method)—Images must be labeled with the individual full name. Send submissions to cards@orangehuntswimclub.org.
2.  Hard Copy—Images must be labeled with the individual full name. All images submitted via this method become the property of the Club and will not be returned. Send submissions to:

You will be notified by email when your cards will be available for pick up at the pool desk

Temporary Cards for New Members

Temporary cards will be assigned to new members joining throughout the season. Temporary cards will be valid for a two week period after the join date.  Members will be notified by email when the permanent cards will be available at the guard desk for pick-up.

Yearly Season Stickers

Cards will be updated with an admission sticker for the season each year.  Members are required to get the appropriate sticker at the beginning of the season from the pool manager on first entry to the facility.  Members without a current season sticker will not be permitted to enter the pool.
