OHSTC Party Rental Agreement

Orange Hunt has a wide variety of rental spaces for members to hold parties. Each party must be hosted by a member in good standing.  Every member of our pool (excluding Tennis only and inactive members) can rent space for a party at the pool. 

Every member wishing to host a party must complete a Party Rental Agreement.
 


Please reserve your party date with Sheila Chewning, our social chairperson at social@orangehuntswimclub.org.  Members will need to identify which type of party to be held, (i.e. birthday, graduation, family reunion, adult only party, and other), number of individuals to attend the party (adult and children under 21). 

Rental Hours
Rentals can be arranged from 11:00 am-10:45pm. All activities at the pool must be completed by 11:00 pm per community convenience.  Noise levels at the party must be kept at a reasonable level to be courteous to our neighbors.  Any parties continuing later than 9:00 pm will need to pay additional fees for lifeguards as indicated on the form and with the approve of the social chairperson.

Rain Policy:
In the event of rain we will make an effort to establish a suitable rain date. If we cannot come to an agreed upon date you will be issued a 50% refund. Any party that has been in progress for more than 1.5 hours time will not be issued a refund. There are no refunds issued on guest passes and guest fees.

Rental Terms of Agreement
Members must agree to:

• follow all club rules and have guest follow club rules as well. Understand that host member is liable for guests behavior while on pool property.

• clean up after the party and return the pool to the condition it was in upon entry. Failure to return pool to the original condition will result in a fee for cleaning costs.

• pay the rental fee, and guest fees.

• pay for any damages that occur as a result of their party or party guests. Members understand that damages will be brought to their attention and will be billed to them after assessment of the costs has been determined.

• assume any liability for the actions of their guests, while on pool property.

• If alcohol is served or consumed at the event, members understand it is their responsibility/liability to verify the ages of all individuals serving and consuming alcohol and to ensure the compliance with all laws pertaining to said activity.

Party locations
Standard party rental is for 2 hours maximum, arrangements can be made for additional time with the social chairperson.

Costs

A 50% deposit is required at time of contract submission.

Members will need to pay a $5.00 per guest fee or use pre-purchased guest passes upon entry to the party.  All members and guests must sign in when entering the pool. Parties that exceed the maximum number of people for the area reserved will be charged an additional fee.


If your party will last longer than 2 hours please indicate it on the rental agreement, and additional charges will be included as indicated by Sheila Chewning, our social chairperson at social@orangehuntswimclub.org
